There’s a Starbucks mobile hack that reportedly gets you free lattes

Users of the Starbucks app may have found a way to get cheaper lattes.

Food Republic reports a mobile ordering trick allows users to order a drink without paying extra for the milk. The trick, according to the publication, is to order a beverage as an espresso or iced espresso item and build a latte by customizing the beverage.

Customers using the Starbucks mobile app should choose espresso or iced espresso on the menu. Next, select the cup size and then select “Add Creamer.” Once customers add the link, they should click on the same dropdown menu and find the option to increase the amount of milk added. From there, customers can keep customizing beverages by adding shots of syrup, cold foam, or sweeteners.

“Keep in mind that since this is a bit of a loophole, depending on the size cup you order and how many other ingredients you add, the drink may not fill the cup all the way,” writes Food Republic.

So, how much money can you save using this hack? The verdict is still out. TikTok creator @jenglufling shared a step-by-step video for how to perform this ordering hack on the company’s mobile app. In the video, she says she saved over $3 in the process.
